Save the choice or save the video?
The heart button saves a film in My List. It does not transfer a movie file to your phone. For an offline copy, choose a viewing service that offers downloads for the selected title, plan and device. Its app explains what can be downloaded and how long the offline copy remains available.
Prepare before travelling
Choose the exact production and year, then check audio and subtitles in the downloadable edition. Test it in the destination app before leaving a reliable connection. A title shown in a catalog is not evidence that every edition supports offline playback.
Download quality can affect storage use and the time needed to finish. Keep enough free space and read any expiry notice. Some services require occasional reconnection or restrict playback to the app that created the download. Follow the service’s instructions rather than trying to treat its offline files as ordinary transferable videos.
APK and movie downloads are different
